Far, very far from here, in Smurf Village full of mushroom-shaped houses live the Smurfs. They are three apples high, have blue skin and wear white trousers and a white cap. They are a happy, easy-going bunch, give or take one or two! They speak their very own unique Smurf language and use the word Smurf as a noun, verb and everything in-between. They are led by 543 year old Papa Smurf, a good and powerful wizard. Each Smurf is assigned a task in the village according to their ability and needs of the Smurf community. 

Out to destroy the Smurfs is the evil wizard Gargamel who spends his days trying to capture, eat or destroy the Smurfs. They must join together to protect themselves and their village from his evil plans to destroy them.
