Disney Fairies is inspired by Tinker Bell's World of Pixie Hollow within Never Land, full of fairies, friendship and the magic of pixie dust. The mythology of Pixie Hollow revolves around the premise that fairies hold the secret to many mysteries of nature. Fairies talents are to bring the magic of each season to our world. Disney Fairies is all about fantasy, fairy tales, imagination and role play. Fairies inspire young girls to find their own talents and believe in themselves, all with a little help from their friends and, of course, the magic of pixie dust.What would you do if you saw a real fairy? In Winter 2010, Tinker Bell will have her first encounter with a human in the new DVD, Tinker Bell & the Great Fairy Rescue. The fairies of Pixie Hollow go on holiday to mainland England where Tinker Bell is discovered and caught by a little girl called Lizzy. Lizzy is fascinated by fairies and while Tinker Bell begins to learn about the world of humans, the other fairies launch a brave rescue mission, led by the brash Vidia, to bring Tinker Bell back home.
