Throughout October children across the nation have been writing stories in the latest Sylvanian Families in store competition and now with the deadline passed and all the stories read and judged, the winners can be announced!

The task was to write a story for the new Family in Sylvania – The Hunter Smyths to read to their children whilst sitting around the cosy fire in Highfields farmhouse where they live.
Over 1500 entries were received and the Sylvanian Families would like to thank all the children who took part for their hard work and creativity. "We’ve had great fun reading all the stories and it is amazing the ideas that fans have come up with. We hope everyone had as much fun writing them as we have had reading them!"
Choosing winners was difficult but nonetheless the winners have now been selected. There is a 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in each of the age categories, and one very special prize for a story that so captured the spirit of Sylvanian that the judges felt it was worthy of an overall winner award.
Lucy Morice-Jones, aged 8, from Chatham in Kent, is the overall winner with her written and photo story based on a group of Sylvanian Families characters who go on adventures, to the beach and other places.
